About The Author

Hoda Fakhari is a sophomore at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she studies both biochemistry and English, with a concentration in media, rhetoric and cultural studies. Her work has been featured in UIC’s undergraduate literary and arts magazine, Red Shoes Review, as well as the 2015 issue of Brainchild. After graduation, she hopes to work as a healthcare professional so that she may combine her interests in the sciences and the humanities.
