BRAINCHILD’S 10th ANNIVERSARY

Before Brainchild became the magazine it is today, it started as a project created by first-year honors students. Their love for literary arts meant so much to them, the Honors College, and the community, that they decided to continue the work and open a new undergraduate magazine. The original project was made in the 2012-2013 academic year, and by 2014 Brainchild had released its first official publication.

Since then, Brainchild has had the great privilege of publishing undergraduate honors students’ work every year. We are continuously blown away by all the amazing submissions we receive, and the contributors we publish. Throughout all of our changes, we have been and still are humbled by the remarkable support our community gives us. Each year our staff evolves; old friends graduate and new friends join. Despite this, every year our team skillfully carries and expands on the legacy they were left with.

In honor of this milestone, we’ve created digital time capsules for each issue. Our staff has hand-picked submissions they felt best showcased each edition.
